Why I Lost My Faith in God

For about a year now, I have been living without an active faith in God. This is a fairly big change from my life beforehand, where I claimed that I followed Jesus, was fairly heavily involved in a Christian group at uni called Student Life, and was a pretty regular attendee of my local church. So what happened? It's a fair question, and one that I, understandably, get asked by many people, especially Christian friends. So I thought I would save myself a lot of lengthy explanations to people as yet unaware of my reasons for this change by posting a (long) explanation here.

Oops!

It has been brought to my attention that my game (content/view/14/28/) was incorrectly linked to (actually, I just passwordprotected the directory it was in, forgetting people other than me might wanna access the brain-killingfun that is BrickBASH! (content/view/14/28/)). So I have fixed that, and uploaded a zipped version (http://www.greglockwood.com/public_files/bbzipped.zip) without an installer for people with restrictions on installing stuff. If you haven't checked out my famous game (content/view/14/28/) before, you don't know what you are missing! Of course, once you find out, you'll wish you were still missing it, but it'll be too late by then!

Some links

If anybody actually looks at this site: Check out this amazing 3 year old painter who finger paints (using circular dabs of paint instead of smearing it like most of us) an image of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle most of us would be proud of! It's incredible!Video is quite short, so great for a quick distraction. The address is http://www.glumbert.com/media/fingerpaint (http://www.glumbert.com/media/fingerpaint). Also, another great, and clever site is http://www.1-click.jp (http://www.1-click.jp).It contains fascinating new footage of how your mouse cursor really works! Click the link and move your mouse to get a rare glimpse into your screen! Also, don't forget to click/double-click to see how that works, too.

New Headphones

Another one of my recent acquisitions procured from my birthday loot is some new good quality headphones, which I have been after for quite some time. It has been my long held hope that my friends would contribute enough money at my much-belated birthday party so that I could achieve this end. Fortunately, my love of JB HiFi must have been noticed by enough people that I got a total of $140 worth of gift vouchers (Thanks Anna, Tam, Nicky, Olga and Dave!) which I was able to use instead of my own money.Click Read More to find out which ones I bought, and my thoughts on Windows Vista.

I just bought a brand new multi-effects unit for my guitar, Blue Steel . It's the Zoom 505 II (http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/products/505/) , and it was only $99 (+ $20 for a power adapter so I don't burn through batteries) from Billy Hyde Music (http://www.billyhydemusic.com.au/) at Paramatta.
